    I think to reduce the risk of them going green you must keep them in the dark... *i think*

    Yeah we keep them in the dark to prevent green here. We have special bags lined with black material. I always chuck green potatoes, have done since I started cooking. Oh and here's another tidbit, I remember in science in high school we were told that glykowhatsitsname in HIGH doses can have similar affects as strychnine and arsenic. But I'm talking HIGH doses.
