Is your aversion to all types of fruit? dried, fresh, tinned?
do you do raw veg?
I'm after some ideas for healthy snacks that doesn't involve fruit.
I don't eat any fruit whatsoever - please don't tell me how naughty that is, I already know, it's like I have some sort of psychological aversion to fruit, I just can't do it!
Needless to say, finding healthy snack ideas is hard sometimes.
Hit me with your ideas!
Is your aversion to all types of fruit? dried, fresh, tinned?

do you like vegies?
carrot, zucchini, cucumber, capsicum sticks, broccolli florets, beans etc with dip
natural yogurt with honey
pita bread + dip
popcorn
I don't eat any fruit either (the only exception being apple pie once or twice a year), so no judgement here. I've always loved veges though so I make up for it there.
Re healthy are you looking for low carb, low cal, high protein, high fibre or what? There are so many variations on healthy!
My go to ones are:
Slice of cheese (with or without ham)
Vege sticks (mmmmm crunch!)
Nuts
Popcorn
Rice cakes with peanut butter
Slice of bread with butter
Bowl of weetbix
Iced coffee
Fruit has different goodness to vegetables. Could you maybe have a smoothie? Fruit with custard? Just more exciting ways to eat it![]()
I do trail mix, chopped veggies with philly (sweet chilli philly is so addictive!), yogurt, smoothies (is fruit better that way?), home made icecream - basically just frozen whipped egg whites, boiled eggs... I think that's probably it as far as healthy goes, I'm yet to find a recipe for bars and cookies and such that's healthy and DH & DD will actually eat!
Cheese
Boiled egg
Cold meat
Tuna
Nuts
Seeds
Dips and veg
I don't really eat fruit either (I avoid fructose)
I like corn crackers with butter
Raw nuts like macadamia and almonds
Natural yogurt with fruit free muesli
Good old bread and butter!
Can you purée fruit in pike lets or muffins and freeze them for snacks?
Fruit free snacks -
Nuts
pepitas
Pop corn
Cruskits, crackers, corn cakes (waaaay nicer than rice cakes!) with PNB, jam, cheese and mashed avo, cream cheese and tinned salmon mixed together - yum!
Tinned tuna
Creamed corn on toast with melted cheese (is that healthy?!)
Homemade bikkies - heaps of healthy recipes out there (again, freeze them and they're ready to eat straight from frozen)
Crumpets - nice with melted cheese as well as the usual sweet toppings
Dry cereal
Chai Latte (with a tea bag so there's no sugar)
My favourite snack is yogurt topped with seeds. Mmm, very filling.
Vita wheats with vegemite are my go to snack.
What about avocado and tomato?
I love corn cakes with avocado and tomato, carrot sticks with hummus, almonds, plain yoghurt topped with Carmen's fruit free muesli
Puffed corn
