Mini quiches are good, I cheat and use ready made pastry and make them in a muffin tin.

Mini quiches are good, or even a frittata cut into slices. Chicken pieces (but make sure you take some napkins/serviettes), assorted sandwiches, fruit and vege platter (sliced seasonal fruit and carrot/celery/capsicum sticks etc) or even fruit kebabs. Cup cakes for dessert.

Scotch eggs..........if you can be bothered with the deep frying.........I only make them once a year, but they are great picnic food.

Or bake a load of sauages and double wrap them in al-foil and they can then be eaten warm....
