    Vegetable side dishes

Hello...getting really bored with steamed veges on the side but want to eat more veges. Are there any creative and amazing ideas out there on how to make interesting sides out of veges. Ta.

I like to mix honey and seame seeds thru carrots and beans... makes them not so bland!! Or onion thru mashed potato.

Other then that i hate vegies so much i stick to salads!

Stir-fry them with a few cashews and some oyster sauce and garlic (just spray a tiny bit of oil on a non-stick wok for low fat).
I love steamed chinese spinich with oyster sauce poured over it.
Glaze them with butter and garlic.
Au gratin - pour cheesy white sauce over and bake.
Baked or roasted - a roast vege salad is always yummy.
    Make them into soup.
Grate them and mix them with mashed potatoes and an egg to bind then shape the mix into patties and fry.

Kecap Manis over brocolli when steaming is nice, so is fetta & brocolli. Beans stir fried with sesame oil, a splash of soy and some sesame seeds. Cauliflower & Brocolli Salad, where you par boil and add a dressing... its yum!
