Ok - well generally if we have a family meal it is vegetarian. I (apparently) make such tasty meals that DP (says he) doesn't miss the meat at all. However, if meat is wanted by DP or the children he will often do some on the bbq so that it isn't in the house. Otherwise they order meat dishes when we go out for meals. The children also eat meat at childcare and DD1 gets turkey in her wraps for school that I will make for her.
I guess in that respect I think everyone in the house who does eat meat gets enough meat in their diets. They also eat a lot more vegies, tofu and pulses than most other kids which is a good thing. They love stir frys, pasta, risotto, burritos, pizzas, soups, frittatas etc all made meat-free so it isn't too hard to cook a family meal and keep everyone happy.
