Hi, I am searching for new food ideas to give my little girl who is now 9.5mth old. I have been hearing from mums whos bubs attend child care, the interest food they get given while in care. Anyone have any interesting combos their dearest ones loves?
thanks
I give Lucas:
*Avocado with any combination of: grated carrot (microwaved till soft), yoghurt, hummous (so he likes garlic), ricotta, tuna.
* Pasta - with a little cheese, ricotta or tuna (I'm going to make a tomato sauce soon)
* Risotto - I make a chicken & veg risotto that DH & I eat too
* Soup/stew - meat & veg, pumpkin
* Vegies - I soon feed him most and give him some finger size bits at the end
* Fruit as finger food - banana, pear, mandarin(if I feel like removing the membrane), tinned peaches
* Cruskits & rice cakes
* Celery to chew - I take it away before all that's left is string
* Yoghurt (natural or greek) on its own or with fruit
* Jelly - so far I've only made apple just with juice, water & gelitine just for extra fluid & as a treat
* Lamb cutlet - I cut off the meat & give him that with veg and at the end give him the bone to chew (closely supervised) suggested by my CHN
