Greek lamb chops for australia day?

    Hi ladies,
We do nothing for australia day so i thought I would do the Australia Day tradition and have lamb. DH loves the lamb chops you get in greek restaurants, the ones cut nice and thin on the long bone so am going to get some of those for teh BBQ tonight. any ideas what the greek restaurants would marinate them in or is it just the flavour of the char grill and splashes of lemon juice while it is cooking? we don't have a char grill so will just be bbqing onthe weber.

Maybe try rubbing them with a bit of garlic or make a marinade with lemon juice, garlic and oregano but don't marinade them for long because lamb is already tender and the lemon juice can start 'cooking' them.

mmmm now I want chops too - I wonder if the butcher across the road is open today....
