I didn't have enough cocoa! So I made oat cookies, now DS2 is sick so I'm not going to work anyway. I might buy cocoa & take brownies next week.

Snowy Love - oh no, poor DS. The oat cookies sound great though.

DH went off to work with a batch of patty cakes and MIL and I will share some today. The whipped butter icing is amazing!

Thanks BG. I'll have to jot that down.

I made more French Cream Icing this morning (instead of getting us all ready for the day

), as I had a batch of Red Velvet cupcakes already made the other day. And, I got to share it with the Man, our young mechanic, and my good friend who I haven't seen since before Christmas! She loves the icing and is going to stalk me for the recipe so she can make it for another friend of hers, engagement cake.

Mmmmm, French Cream Icing.... <drool>

Sorry I've been MIA - we've had a huge couple of days! My choccy cupcakes were a mixed bag. I thought they were good, MIL LOVED them and has asked for the recipe, but DH's workmates thought they were "heavy" and "a bit dry"

In other words, guess who won't be getting anything to share on our next Bake and Share day?!

I hope everyone else enjoyed theirs. What are we going to do next time? And when? We ARE going to do another one, aren't we ladies?
