    Slice base without coconut??

I want to make a choc caramel slice but all the base recipes I found all have coconut and if i use that DH won't eat it!
Does anyone have any other recipes I can use for the base?

    TIA xx

You can use a straight biscuit base (like a cheesecake base) they don't use coconut.

Get some choc ripples and some butter, smash them up and mix with melted butter, press it in and let it set in the fridge, then fire away with your slice top

Just follow the recipe you have but keep the coconut out.
I don't like coconut in my caramel slice either.
