    Marinated Chicken Wings

Planning on cooking these for dinner tonight, but I don't know how long to cook them for or at what temperature in the oven. There's a kilo.

Also, any ideas on what I could serve with them? I think they are honey soy.

    Thanks all.

(I looked in ALL my cookbooks, and couldn't find a thing!)

The Temp gauge on my oven disent work. I prefer a longer slower cook. This way you know what ever your cooking is cooked properly... (but thats just me... ) i'd say not too high as the marinade will burn and taste horrible.

I'd serve them with salad or if ur like us we prefer to eat wings with our fingers (is there any other way) so maybe other finger type foods. Maybe some rice, garlic bread, sticks of carrots and celery. Nice corn on the cob

I cook them and have them with either chicken rice or homemade fried rice.

We tend to cook them on 200 for about 40 mins or so. Keep an eye on them and turn them down if you need to but it always seems to work fine for me. Try not to turn them until they are really cooked underneath. The pan will inevitably be a mess (ours always is) but its so worth it!

Thanks Je$$ and Cai. Huge help!

Hmm.... what type of rice....Oh, I know, steamed rice stirred through melted butter and finely chopped veges, salt pepper, and lemon juice. I usually use salmon and a couple of hard boiled eggs, but the veges are just as good. Almost.

Maybe a herb bread... Have to check if I've got some! If not, the good old garlic will do!

And I don't think there is any way to eat wings (or ribs for that matter) than with your fingers. I'm sure it is the Man that always says he prefers to have his fingers separately

I thought everyone ate them with fingers until friends came to our house for dinner and they were eating them with cuttlery. I stupidly said oh its ok, no need to be formal with us dig in use ur fingers we dont care we do its the best way to eat them... And they were like "we always eat them like this" didnt i look stupid... I think next time we'll just have snags on the BBQ so i dont stick my foot in it

Doh! Foot in mouth disease! Hate that! Watch out with the bbq, they might eat sangas in bread with cutlery too!

Wings turned out DELICIOUS! Cooked on 160 (I have a fan forced oven) for one hour I think. Did the rice, but forgot to put the garlic bread on. Going to get those again!

Thank you for the advice. Very much appreciated.

    Easy, like this

No, I'm kidding, don't mean to offend anyone that eats wings with cutlery.

Fingers are just so much more effective at holding the wings and letting you get what little amount of meat there is off the bones!
