Microwaving Chicken

I bought a chook to cook today. It has on the pack that you can microwave it.

Has anyone ever done this? would you recomend doing it?

I would rather do it in the microwave if its going to cook all the way through etc. my oven is pretty **** as the seal is broken. So rather waste gas in the oven the microwave would be good.

So has anyone cooked a whole chook this way?

are you talking bout the woolies one in the bag yeah did it once not as nice as in oven but still edible

I wouldn't. Microwaved chicken tastes funny. One of the reasons I try and avoid mealtimes at the ILs is MIL's habit of microwaving the chook.
