    Mocktail Recipes

    HI everyone

DH and I have just finished setting up his bar and when we christened it this weekend, i realised we had very few recipes for interesting, non-alcoholic drinks!! i will have the occassional drink (mainly just small samples when we create something new) - but wondering if anyone can help me out with simple mocktail recipes? we have a number of friends whose hubby's drink, and they're relegated to tea/coffee or softdrink - would love to be able to offer them something tasty so they don't feel left out (plus i'm TTC, and not drinking either, so it would be nice to be able to have something for me too...)

    Mocktails

My work does a Kris Kringle Lunch and we all bring something. I've decided to take Mocktails... but I can't find any receipes!!!! Can anyone help me out? They need to be something I can make the night before or quick and easy to make on the day (I'm happy to take my little blender to work but it really has to be quick and easy if I'm doing it at work... gotta still look after my patients!)

    TIA

    Virgin Pina Coladas are good.

    .Ingredients:
    •1 cup pineapple juice
    •1 cup crushed pineapple
•1/2 cup coconut milk (canned or fresh)
    •juice from one lime
    •ice to top of blender
    Preparation:
Blend ingredients until ice is slushy. Pour into frosted glasses and enjoy immediately.

Or you could make a big jug of punch.

    I usually put

Moselle, a tin of Golden circle tropical juice, some cut up bananas, strawberries, kiwifruit or whatever I've got on hand and some Dry Ginger.

Not really a mocktail but I wanted to pop my head in and mention Maggie Beer's Ruby Cabernet. It's a really lovely - as close to 'real wine' as you can imagine - non-alcholic pink sparkling wine. It makes a fantastic spritzer with soda, a squeeze of lemon and a spring of mint. I'm stocking up for christmas (doubt I'll be able to handle my champers this year LOL).

For those who have an Iphone, there is an application called "Mixologist" which has a non-alcoholic section. I'm making Pina Colada's and Shirley Temple's and Batman's for the work function
