    Not bad for a packet....

Packet San Choi Bow. I like the Marion's Kitchen one, it's actually not too bad when you look at the ingredients.

I've been making the 'Betty Crocker' cakes and cupcakes (I love that they come with frosting for you) and they are the most moist cakes I have every made and pretty easy to make with just adding water, eggs and oil/butter (depending on what you are making).

I made the cake for DD's birthday party and it lasted for a few days without going stale and the cupcakes don't last too long when they are made

They don't have enough icing though!

we grabbed the duncan adams brand cake mix when they were on special (about $1.50) each - thought they'd be good as a back up in the cupboard. they were awesome! the french vanilla is waaaaaaaaaaaaay over the top vanilla wise, but he chocolate is divine. and you can get the frosting to go with them if you want...

When I make cakes from scratch I buy the tubs of Betty Crocker frosting, it is way better than using icing sugar

I find there is more than enough icing when doing the cupcakes, so much so that last week when DD and I made cupcakes I used the left over icing to make about 10 homemade 'hundred and thousands' biscuits - Milk Arrowroot Biscuits, left over frosting and hundred and thousands sprinkles

Aldi Banana Bread mix - love it! I make it at least once a week. It is really nice just following the instructions or even better if you add extra bananas, some dessicated coconut and a bit of honey. Even my MIL - "This is a packet mix????? I only bake from scratch" - likes it.

I even like those basic Green's muffin mixes that all you have to do it add a cup of water It is way easier to do than trying to measure out ingredients with little 20 month old 'helpers' at the moment
