Well I think cigarette ash (gross I know) gets hair colour off skin. Not sure about food colouring though. Good luck.

i have used bicarb and vinegar to get rid of food coloring on my hands in the past (different brand, same sort of situation though!)
next time, i'd suggest using gloves or covering your hands in copha so the color doesn't stick

I have heard that nail polish remover works well or you could try lemon juice if you have any. When I use the gel colours I wash my hands immediately after using them and find that I get very little or no staining at all.

toothpaste works well also, (it also gets black texta of skin).
