Packing lunch - to separate foods?

First things first. That is ridiculous. It should not matter what she eats when. Gah.

Secondly that would be fine as long as it isn't food that will mush due to other food it will be fine.

If they have a problem they should fix it not make it your problem.
Most schools these days have lunch at morning tea time and a snack at lunch time so perhaps they should swap their times to be in line with schools.

I know this isn't answering your lunchbox question, but have you told them you don't mind if she eats her lunch at morning tea time? As a teacher, I'll often try to encourage my students to save their lunch til lunchtime, but if a parent told me they didn't care what they ate when, then I would let them go.....I know that my DD1 has a much bigger appetite in the morning than at lunchtime for instance so I wouldn't be surprised if she would want to eat her lunch at recess time when she starts school in the future....

It doesn't really bother me if she eats her sandwich first, but it doesn't bother me if they want it separate either, whatever works, as long as she eats I'm happy. Thankyou for your responses and confirming my thoughts. Today I put a little tub in for her date slice to keep it separate from her watermelon other than that, it works!
