    I don't use tomato paste for sauces as I don't like the taste or the gunk they use to make it. So we tend to buy passata (or I puree tins of tomatoes) but I'll often add a tin of tomatoes along with the passata or pureed tom's. Also for good passata made sure its made with Roma's.

    I actually prefer Aldi's passata as well because there isn't anything added, I can add everything myself

    I use it for our bolognaise... but it would work for tomato soup as well.

    I once had a recipe that used this and looked for ages wondering what the heck it was lol, finally realised what it was and now I see it all the time.

    I used it in Five Spice Lamb recipe so it can be used in lots of different things.
