Pasta, Fruit & Nut SALAD recipe ... Does anyone have one to share ??
Hi all,
This time last year i was at Xmas party and a lovely Sri Lankan lady made the most yummiest & refreshing salad ... i asked her if it was a Sri Lankan recipe and she said no it was a Philippine recipe ... all i remember that was in it was spiral pasta, sultanas, and chopped walnuts but i can't remember what else was in it & mayo was mixed through it too ...
............ DOES ANYONE KNOW THIS RECIPE OR ONE SOUNDING LIKE IT ???
its not the same and not exactly a recipe but gives you a general idea of filipino pasta salads. Is there anyway you could get in touch with this lady call the party host or anything to get the recipe from her from the net ive got nothing through searching for you
Ooooooh THANKU, THANKU, THANKU lovely ladies for such huge great help there
... Unfortunately i'm unable to contact the lady with the yummo salad ... and funny enough i was thinking waldolf recipes but i no it didn't have apples in it and i just can't remember the combination of what was in this particular salad as for me it was just right IYKWIM ... i think there might have been celery but can't remember if it had mango or something like pineapple in it
I reckon i need to pay more attention to what's in something i love next time, LOL
