No such thing as too young for play dough! LOL Actually, that's not true at all. You just need to think about a couple of things. Little kids will want to explore it like food, which is a choking hazard, plus the saltiness isn't good for their little kidneys. So if you decide to introduce it, you need to stay with her & watch the whole time. And only use very soft dough. As kids get a bit older, they tend to lose that urge to put their mouth on everything plus they are more likely to understand your instructions not to eat it. Plus it takes them a while to work out what to do with it, so she not be very interested in it to start with. At this age she might get more enjoyment out of messy play using something like coloured gloop that you can cook up with cornflour.
