    Question Pre-Made Salads & Pregnancy

I know that pre-packaged salads are a no-no because of the listeria risk, but I'm wondering about one I'm making myself.... It has boiled eggs, pasta & mayo in it and is supposed to be served cold. Even though I've made it myself would it be safer to have my serve heated up to hot? Or because I've made it put it in the fridge & done it all properly would it be ok?

If you've prepared it safely and its been refridgerated and not left out you'll be fine, but I'd only eat it the day I made it and not after. So if you're serving it at a bbq take out a portion for you to put in another container and then you'll be able to take yours straight from the fridge (this is what I used to do )

    *hugs*

Oh crap. I totally forgot about the pre-prepared salad thing and bought a small potato salad from the supermarket to have at a bbq tomorrow. I was really looking forward to it too.
