    The Lebanese bread in the supermarket is inferior. The stuff from the smaller shops is fresher and usually free of nasties.

    I haven't bought lebanese bread, but I bought tortillas from the local privately owned f&v store thinking they'd be ok being from a local company & all but after reading the label, there were quite a few shocking numbers in there. At least one had a double sad face in the chemical maze book and was known to cause cancer . You really have to read the labels regardless of where it's from
