This is the recipe I use... it is brilliant and it has no eggs.

    Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies
    • 250g butter
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 can condensed milk
    • 3 cups sifted self raising flour
    • 1 packet of chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugar. Add condensed milk and stir. Then add flour, chocolate chips. Mix through. Roll into balls, place on biscuit tray and bake for 12-15 minutes at 190C.
    Yum!

ETA - I have also taken out a 1/4 cup of the flour and added cocoa in its place to make chocolate, choc chip cookies which were yummo too.

    Bill Granger Chocolate Chip Cookies

    125g unsalted butter softened
1 1/4C tightly packed brown sugar
    1tspn vanilla essence
1 egg lightly beaten (I don't beat it)
    1 1/2C plain flour
    1/2tspn baking powder
    pinch salt
    1 1/2C chocolate bits

    Preheat oven to 180
place butter and sugar in a bolw and beat until light and creamy
add vanilla and egg and stir to combine (I just turn the beaters down to the lowest)
Stir in the sifted (not) flour, baking powder and salt.
    Fold through chocolate chips
Place spponfuls of mixture onto a greased baking tray (allow for much spreading).
It says to cook for 15-20min but I only let them cook for 10 - to pale gold.
Allow to cool on tray for 5 minutes before onto wire rack to cool.

These are magnificent warm with a big glass of milk!
