    honey soy wings

    1 kg wings
    1/3 cup honey
    1/2 cup light soy sauce
    3 cloves garlic crushed
    1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
fresh chopped coriander & mint to garnish

Cut wing tips off (feed some to cat)
Combine honey, soy sauce, garlic & ginger in a big bowl and mix well
Put in chicken and mix well.
Put in the fridge for a few hours and move it around occasionally to ensure chook is well covered by marinade.
Arrange in a single layer in a baking dish and pour marinade over the top.
Cook in a moderately hot oven (about 190°) for 30 mins turning occasionally.
Then turn oven up to very hot (about 240°) for 10 minutes or until chicken is well glazed and tender.

I serve it with fresh chopped coriander and mint as garnish but that's optional.

Depends if they are for adults or the kiddies. I have a childrens cookbook and the recipe in there says, soy sauce, tomato sauce and honey mixed together. It makes a really yummy marinade

I'm lazy and often use the Master Foods marinades - the terriyaki one is great!

Or good old chicken wings on the BBQ (or roast in the oven) and do some chips and gravy....

Or sprinkle with Chicken Salt (Or All Purpose spice).

Wings are great for Apricot Chicken (there are lots of pre-made sauces out there).

    Now I want chicken wings!
