Not sure of other brands but mine is used for zucchini slice and I find it stains but I can live with that.

I just got mine out today and found the same - tacky. It irritates me when I try to use it anyway so I think I'm going to chuck it out.
Mmmm - I will just live with the tackiness I think - sounds like it isn't my "user-error" which has caused it.
I have some that the cake always sticks to, useless things.
so what's the deal, should i return my unopened muffin tin?
never had a problem with any of my silicone bakeware, but it is a different brand. Maybe it is just the cheapies that have this problem???
I have to say I liked it before when I was using it regularly and never actually had to put on a tray even though is flexible - but I am not a cook at all. I think it must be something to do with being unused for a while with residue on it, because have just been looking at the teats I had for bottles that used with EBM for DD and they are the same - feel all tacky and horrible (I am going to chuck those and buy new ones).
Just read via google, that soaking in vinegar may get rid of the tackiness, and the more you oil them the more tacky they are likely to become.
