I used to buy it UHT from the shop.

Some intolerances you can get when you're older. From memory I read an article which linked gluten intolerance to possibly antibiotics but I can't remember now. They do think something could be creating it.

    You can buy fresh ricemilk

It does sound like an intolerance. I have an intolerance to cows milk protein (as Kelly said, much more likely than LI) which gives me the same symptoms that you have . You can actually have a BT to test for it if you want to know for sure (I had mine done through my naturopath). If you think gluten might be a problem, also look into wheat, as that may be the problem instead.

Good luck And yeah, I'd stay away from soy - a huge proportion of people who have dairy intolerance are also intolerant to soy.

Runs and stomach cramps were what my son would get everytime he would have normal milk, he'd be in alot of discomfort. He'd naturally not feel like much milk either, never asked for it even before I realised the two were linked. Perhaps start with A2 milk (from the supermarket, fresh) and see how your tum goes with that? Elijah tolerates it fine. Then if you still have probs, then try ricemilk, so much yummier than soy And there is lots of bad news with processed soy and soy formula.
