I had maggots in my Yo-Go dessert once as a kid.... turned me off them for life

I once bit into a piece of Domino's pizza and bit into something hard. It was like a piece of bichemon (sp?) (road surface!).... hurt my tooth real bad too... we took it back and showed them and they gave us a voucher for a free pizza... wow geez thanks. (not!!)
How does road surface get into pizza? We could only assume it had been dropped on the road?!?! we couldnt work out what it was.

And as a young kid... Mum found a piece of white bread in the loaf that had what looked like rat poo in it!!! or possibly grease from the machine!!! we couldnt work that one out either

The list of things I have found over my lifetime in food is LONG, ink pad, wood, gravel, hair, band-aid, insects and so on. It seems to happen to me alot - but I think stuff must be in more peoples foods, they just dont pay enough attention to what they are eating.
Anyway, I am still feeling ill at what I found in my chicken pie last night - I will be throwing the rest of the box out and not buying frozen chicken pies again! ...what was it? ...well I`m pretty certain someone in the production line for frozen pies is missing a chunk of finger, and I dont think this is the first time human flesh has been in my food either - I stopped buying pizza shop pizza a few years back after someone grated more than just cheese and didnt seem to notice or care when they then sprinkled it on my order.

and how do cotton buds get in milk?

When my mother and I were on a coach tour in Europe, our group was "treated" to a meal at an Italian restaurant to make up for some shabby rooms that we'd been asked to stay in. Anyway, all of a sudden one of the fellows in the tour group stood up with his wife and left the restaurant and they were followed by everyone at their table. Turned out the man had bitten into a piece of chewing gum that had been in his salad...

And my brother, when he was in Year 7 and doing cooking at school, made some rissole and rice dish but had dropped it, scooped everything up and put it into another container and didn't tell us. Twigged when we found some shards of glass...

Many years ago my Dad had bought some DON kabana/salami and find a knife blade in the middle- he rang them up and they came out right away with a huge basket of DONS goods for us!

My aunt once had a thumb tack in her peas! It was gross.

We used to go out to our local RSL once a week for dinner when DH & I were both working... one night my DD got bits of metal scourer in her pasta. They refunded her meal and we then got a dessert which was mouldy!

Oh, yucko!!! This is all very disturbing. A great read though.

I remembered once when I was pregnant, I bought two meat pies from the local deli... one for me, one for DH. I'd eaten mine and gone home when my phone rings. DH tells me that he'd gone to eat his and found teeth marks from a mouse or rat and had taken it back and I should check mine before I eat it... too late!!!
