The one I make FJ is-
1x large tin of tuna
1x tin of creamed corn
1x tin of champignons
1x onion diced
100-200ml cream
It's super yummy! I think I might make it tonight!
Ages ago my half sister showed me how she makes a pretty basic tuna pasta. I no longer talk to her & can't remember what she used. But I want to make some.
I'm pretty sure it was really basic like making a white source. I know it had some curry powder in it, ummmmm what else... tuna, lol it had tuna..
Anyone got a basic recipe to share?

Hi i just get the maggi cook in a pot recipe mixes and its a pretty basic one to make, just have to add corn kernels, milk, tuna, cheese & potatoes along with the recipe mix.
Sounds nice. I will try it that way. But I am after something I can make with out heading to the shops.
I am pretty sure it was a white source sort of base...
Yeah the one she made wasn't a packet mix... This going to do my head in!
The white sauce is maybe a roux? You make it with a few spoonfuls of butter- say 3 T, melt in a small saucepan but be careful not to burn it. Add in an equal amount of flour, it'll make a paste that again, you don't want to let burn. Stir that for about a minute, then add 2 c of milk, stirring til it thickens. If you like your sauce cheesy, add about 1.5 c of cheddar to it, stir til it melts. Makes a really good white sauce. Maybe add a bit of curry or paprika or pepper at the end, whatever you like. When I make a roux I line up all the ingredients because if I turn my back it makes a mess.
