Weber Q - Are they worth the money?

We're thinking about investing in a Weber Q for our camper. I've ruled out the family sized one, it's not something we can afford, but we're considering the smallest one (think it's the Weber Baby Q 100). We have a normal sized Weber, but it's not practical for us to take that camping.

We don't have an oven in the camper, and only use a small gas cooker. We're looking for a bit more than a BBQ, and wondering if the smallest one of these will fit the bill for the odd roast and BBQs while we travel.

So I guess I'm asking - is it worth it? Are they good to use? Best and worst thing about it?

    TIA

My dad has two of them and loves them! He originally bought the big one and was so happy with it he bought the baby one to keep at his work. He regularly gets it out and does a BBQ on a Friday arvo for the boys. But he's also takes it to the park etc for Christmas and things. It's definitely not as portable as a camper BBQ, but still pretty easy o take with you and seems to cook everything well.

Don't have one, but I had to laugh when I thought of the add:

"Weber Q is great for the home and there's babyQ for the beach house" or something along those lines. Like everybody has a beach house and it's just the norm.

Yeah, with the countries strong economy and cheap housing prices, who wouldn't have a beach house?

But in all seriousness, I bet the Weber Q would be awesome. My DH would be obsessed with it also, he loooves a bbq

We had a baby Q, that we recently gave to my mother as I got DH a big BBQ for his birthday. I would have LOVED to get him the Family Q becuase they are just brilliant. I loved my baby Q and could cook anything in it. Replaced our oven most of the time. Roasts are OMG good in it.

Well worth the money, one day when we have the cash I'll get DH the family Q

DH loves his Q and we've gone from using the BBQ maybe 3 times a year to 3 times a week. You can cook cakes and pizza on it too so it'd be great for camping.

It does cook well, steaks are always juicy.

DH had the Weber ad theme as his phone ring for a while and one of Ds2's first words was Weber.
