    heres a couple of ideas
    cabbage sliced thinly , cut some bacon into small cubes ,add alittle butter with a teaspoon of olive oil into frypan
    combined all item cook for about 10/ 15 minutes . add salt pepper to taste .

    8 pork/veal sausages
    6 medium potatoes cut in quarters
    half cabbage
    spicy spanish with smoked paprika ( mccormick)
    cook snags , cook potatoes in mircowave for 8 minutes
    add them in cassrole dish with a 1/4 chicken stock
    add cabbage in stir all items add spice salt/ pepper to taste
    cook for about 20 minutes about 160 deg stir a couple times .

    Easiest thing is just to shred it, with bacon, onion, lots of butter and lots of salt and pepper, in the pan....awesome!

    You can also add shredded brussell sprouts (dont all make that face at me!! lol) to that and it is fabulous...

    ...Though maybe one not for when you are suffering a certain phase of pregnancy where your pants make noises lol

    LOL, never mind the boobies, this was my first thought!
    How about just shredded and steamed with a smidge of butter as a side to your meat or whatever.
    You can make that chinese noodle salad with regular cabbage too (doesn't have to be chinese cabbage).
    Oh, and spring rolls are a fab idea, though they can be fiddly, I suppose.

    i love cabbage and butter and mint sauce, normally we sue it in soups or in my fav chow mien

    If you are UTD, take the outer leaves off and put them in the freezer ready for BFing. You can do almost anything with it, I shed it to make pasta sauce go further and in the mince for shepherds pie, Pretty much anything that you do with Cauli or Brocolli can be done with cabbage added, plus the cabbage can be used raw for coleslaw.
