What do you cook for friends with new babies?

I second lasagna and quiche, easy to make and usually a crowd pleaser.
Chicken pie ? Chicken and spinach in filo?

I was amazed at how much milk we went through in the first couple of weeks after Peter was born, what with all the cups of tea & coffee for all the visitors. Next time someone I know has a baby I'm definitely taking them some milk. Even the long life stuff would be handy for them.

Cake or biscuits are good too to feed all the visitors.
