What are you having for tea tonight in this hot weather?

My standard heatwave meal involves cold cuts, salad and something exciting like a can of beetroot (cold from the fridge LOL). Followed by icecream. Might have to be low-fat tuna with me gallstones (*she says in her best Nanna voice*).

    What are you having?

scotch fillet cooked on the bbq, with baked spud (on the bbq), topped with bacon, onion, pineapple, cheese (and coleslaw for DH) - all cooked outside

DH isnt feeling the heat at all - he lives in a truck half the time and keeps saying "it's not hot babe!" so we can have anything really!

Well I'm thinking about making Pizza in the oven...I figure it's hot enough that an oven on won't make any difference!

My kids are having Pizza leftovers (their request), and I'll probably defrost some prawns for us to cook on the bbq! Although to be honest, I just feel like beer. Its that kinda weather, liquid meals are good. Tomorrow I might go all out and make a thai beef salad... nomnomnom

I'll be doing stir fry's and salad all week I think... BBQ's are great for the hot weather because they don't heat up the house.
