steak with cauliflower cheese, mashed potato and pumpkin and corn cobs
Sausages with "pasta pack" style flavoured rice.
Lamb & veg done in the slow cooker.

Niiiice :) We're having Roast Turkey... still trying to figure out sides. Am pretty sure we'll do smashed potatoes, but as for veg I'm not sure. Not feeling hugely inspired just yet.

The salad was a make it up as I went along type thing and was that perfect combination of fresh and light but substantial. FYI - it was quinoa cooked in half water/half chicken stock, blanched beans, celery, cucumber, parsley, spring onions, lemon zest, salt and lots of pepper, a little bit of cumin and lots of lemon juice. Topped with roast sweet potato and grilled chicken rubbed with ras el hanout, cumin and a bit of cinnamon, and toasted pine nuts and pistachios.
Tonight we'll either have part two of the super weekend pizza experience (we made enough for two nights), or I'll save them for tomorrow night so I don't have to cook after work and throw together a char-grilled capsicum, feta, rocket and pine-nut pasta which is really easy.

Have already had tea, we had grilled lamb loin chops with mashed potato, steamed broccoli, zucchini and carrots. YUM! Was my fave growing up and still is. The kids love it too, except for the veg lol.

Mmmm this thread makes my mouth water. Old bogan fave tonight, pork snags in bread with lotsa cheese, tomato relish and balsamic caramalised onions. Nom nom.

nice fat rib eye steaks with tarragon butter, potato gratin and some steamed vegies. I decided tonight is indulgent, fatty pants night so won't be caring too much about the amount of cream!
