I like pumpkin with lots of cream in it. I like it with both normal cream and sour cream. I'm planning to make some and have people over and serve it in small cob loaves for something different some time over the winter.

I also used to make a minestrone every winter when I lived with my parents. My dad loved it (unless I put celery in it). When it started getting cold he would say "it's time for you to make your minestrone soon". One time mum made it and dad said that it was nice but not as nice as mine. I was so happy to hear him compliment me like that.
Unfortunately since I've been married I haven't made it coz DH doesn't like minestrone. I might have to make it and freeze it just for me this year though.
