    Mines real simple, not quite food...a cup of hot sweet tea always does wonders for me.

    Definitely sweet tea. Loads of it! I'm not the world's biggest eater and when I'm sick, I go right off food... tins of Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup with buttered toast (and a glass of Coke on the side!) is about all I can stomach when I'm unwell... hope you're feeling better soon hun! x

    Anything with celery in it - cooked. I believe in the powers of celery.
    Ditto for barley.
    And pasta in broth. Comfort food.

    Tomato seafood soup with loads of garlic in it. The combination of Vit C from soup, zinc from the seafood, plus the garlic works wonders.

    good old fashioned chicken noodle soup like my Mummy used to make. If I'm too sick to make it, Continental Chicken Noodle Soup comes in as the "very-sick-MG's-my-husbands-too-much-of-an-ass-to-make-me-soup" version. When I make it, I use;

    boiling water
    grated potato
    grated carrot
    diced celery
    shredded cabbage
    chicken stock
    continental chicken noodle soup (for the noodles and extra flavour)

    sometimes I put chicken wings and noodles in it.
