    Yum Yum Yum!

I don't know why I haven't done it before, but today I poached some quinces (using Neil Perry's method), boy are they good! Only had a taste test, but so far, so good. And I've reduced the poaching liquid to a syrup.....OMG, I'm going to have to hide it so I don't drink it LOL! I love quinces but have never cooked them myself.

Anyway, just wanted to share, cos it made me happy. I should find a foodie forum LOL.

Oh, you have to try quinces girls! They are heaven on a plate I like them best slow roasted, but our oven door gets too hot, so that's not very practical with a one year old running around

And while I like quince paste with my cheese, it doesn't do justice to fresh quinces Thanks Michelle, you've now made me want a yummy cheese platter!

Made me want one too - and I'm banned from most of the ones I really love. But pleased to be of some help to your waistline
