For her 4th birthday Grace got a bicycle (with training wheels) and a helmet, a baby alive doll and a dancing dora doll. She is a doll girl, obviously! A friend of mine also gave her a scrapbook, chalk, pencils and felt pens and she loved that - she likes colouring in and drawing. Another thing she got that she loved was a little craft set where she had to decorate a tote bag. Everything was stick on - she had great fun doing that.

My goddaughter will be four in February & she's right into Bindy Irwin, so she gets lots of animal type presents (and a trip to the zoo each year!).

I dont have a 4 y/o daughter but my son will be 4 on sunday... I got him one of those Leapfrog TAG things... To help him read... Got him few books to go with it.

He loves making things also. Still need to get some bits and pieces for that.

When Matilda turned 4 in June I had friends & family get colouring in books and texta's and stuff like that. We actually just did a party... a wildlife party with heaps of lizards and geckoes and snakes... we didn't actually buy her a gift. The party was huge and she got enough gifts. I don't think she even knew that we didn't give her a gift.

ATM she loves playing with the kitchen stuff and cooking things, play dough, doll house, swimming (floaties etc are good pressies for that, goggles), books... books... books. We went and bought a heap of pre-reading books lately because she's recognising letters and wanting to learn.
