At what point would you take a bigger kid for a check up? DD2 started 11pm Monday night. She slept most of Tuesday & slept ok Tuesday night. Yesterday, while she still didn't look ok, she started eating a little & didn't throw up.
Last night she was back at it again. No diarrhea, but seems like she has a lot of pain in the belly. She moans & groans for a good hour or so at a time. Sometimes she's sick, sometimes she isn't. I've never had more than 12-24 hours in the house when it comes to vomiting. Except when she was little & had rota virus.
The local (1 day a week) doctor is away too. Its 65kms away to the hospital, with no doctor, if needed til after Easter. Not sure what they'd do with no doc on. I won't be travelling 2 hours away to the next hospital...
Should I have her checked over? I'm heading up there today anyway for a few bits & pieces before Easter. Or should I just try keeping her fluids up & wait it out. Surely it'll be over soon. No one else in the house has it yet, which seems odd. She has stayed pretty much confined to her room though.
