From what I've seen in my DDs' kindy and pp classes (ages 4-6 over here) a big fuss is made of any new classmate and they seem to settle in very well. I think I would be inclined to move now, and then that way your little girl might make the start of friendships that you can help strengthen over the summer holidays with playdays.
