Have just moved dd into a Hipod Boston. Highest safety rating on that website that does the ratings ( ), has a tether strap (we call it an anchor point, think its the same thing yes?) but it needs an H harness initially. I'm not sure when you can remove the h harness, I think my niece (6yo) is not using the H harness any more.
The website said the folding one was just for occasional use. Whilst it would only usually be weekend trips to bunnings, it would sometimes be longer trips too, and it freaked me and DH out a bit when it said just occasional!
I like the looked of the infasecure vario because of where the seatbelt goes (in the picture in the ad) but I've never seen one in real life.
In my car the lap/sash belt with the SnS does not work for DS. It is all wrong and very uncomfortable for him. So while I like the SnS with the normal harness, he won't fit it much longer and because of where my car seats and seat belts are situated the SnS is not going to work forever.

OP, I call it an anchor, but I had the website with the regulations up and it called it a tether strap, so I thought maybe that was the 'new' thing to call it.
