Ooooo Lu, this is what I do. But I do it in full view and with the outraged screeches of a three year old to accompany me, just to add to the drama. It's amazing hwo quickly toys get tidied up for the next week...!

Alternatively, toys must get tidied before something else (desired) is given over. Snack, TV show, another toy, whatever. That works even better, because the motivation is positive and my voice gets a rest.

Would you believe they haven't even NOTICED yet?

We had such a sunny day yesterday so they were outside most of the day. I've realised I would have to confiscate half my kitchen utensils too, they are always micking stuff to do outside 'cooking'.

We shall have screams after kinder this arvo when ds notices the wii missing, I'm sure...

    LOL!!

When I did it DD said 'oh well Nanna will buy me more toys!!!!!'
Needless to say Nanna didn't. All was fine until I wouldn't let her have the Happy Meal toy at Maccas because NO TOYS meant NO TOYS......that's when the dummy was spat!
