    Re: New school uniforms

For our towels, we do a strip wash by putting dishwashing detergent in the fabrix softener section, to get rid of all the build of of body oils and just yuck. It makes them feel crispy, but they're very clean feeling itms? Not starchy or anything at all.
Then I guess once you dry them (prederably naturally) you could try do a warm wash with fabric softener and see how that goes?

I've heard the epsom salts trick.

My mum used to soak our new wool school jumpers in softener for a few days. Everyone wanted ours lol.
If i have scratchy stuff I throw it in the dryer with a couple of tennis balls....not really an option if it's a thousand degrees though.
