Is work experience in yr10 compulsory? NSW

Thanks everyone - DD1 is back at school today but I don't know how long she'll be there for. She looks terrible and she's got bad chest pains (all related to her anxiety).

I've got a parent teacher night at the school tonight for DS1 so I'm going to try and catch her year advisor then to see if I can get the carers advisor to back off. He's making her sick with all the crap he's throwing at her and I'm not having that.

I want her to do work experience but not at the expense of her health. If he'd told her a couple of weeks ago that she had to find somewhere for next month then she'd have been right but he told her it was ok to leave it till later in the year (when they have a second optional week) and then he sprung it on her during her mid term assessments that she had 3 days to arrange something and get all the paperwork back to him.
