I've been putting off completing DD's second year photo book for ages - I started it, but stopped when money got a bit tight. Not that it costs anything to create it digitally, but it costs to print - and we simply didn't have the money to print
BUT - I have received an email for half price photo books from Snapfish, so I'm working my tushie off to finish it!
Anyone else motivated for digi scrapping? maybe we can motivate each other!
Yay! i saw your first book awhile back and it was awesome. I am collecting photos to make some calendars for christmas, but not really scrapbooking as such. I should get into digital scrapbooking though.
work has definitely made it more difficult this time around. this time last year i managed to finish DD's first year, our wedding album and two other albums - EASILY - but i was only doing two days a week back then - now i'm almost full time and the toddler is much more demanding - so it's HARD!
it doesn't help that i get a picture in my head of how i want a page to look, and will spend hours looking for just the right elements to achieve it lol
I have been working on a few albums - an engagement album, DDs baby album, and a basic family kind of album - on the big w site because a mum from school mentioned that they send out emails for cheap books leading up to Christmas.
Hoping to get them all printed off at half price sometime - wish I could transfer them over somehow to get them now instead! I'm sick of waiting lol
yeah i'm always changing mine. i figure if i'm going to pay decent money to have it printed (we get leather bound books which are a lot more exxy) i need to make sure i'm happy with it!
vistaprint have a $2 calendar special at the moment, came in the yellow envelope thingy today. Momento have a 25% off photobook special as well...we used them for last years photobook and the quality was awesome.....now off to do my calendar family chrissy pressies!!
i used software i have at home (creative memories storybook creator 3.0 - fully paid version) and elements i got from here there and everywhere online!
