I desperately need to finish off DD1's first year in the scrapbook and I came up with the idea that I would love to do a little journal of what happened in that month (I am doing a double page layout for each month of her first year). Now with the little journal entries, I want it to be tucked up inside a little envelope like a little treasure for her to find and read when she is older but I don't exactly know how I'm going to do this and would love suggestions. I want to handwrite the entries as I think it personalises it more and written with love if you know what I mean.

What kind of paper would you use to write on? How would you 'hide' it in the layout? Or what do you think looks great for journal entries?

I have done a little bit of searching on the web but I can't seem to find pictures of layouts where this has been done. I am such a visual person.
