Cool What is your ultimate Christmas feast?

After reading Nadine & Caro's threads on Christmas feast altercations, I'm wondering what youre dream Christmas feast menu would be?

Fresh Seafood for Entree... Prawns, Morton Bay Bugs, Crab, Marron...

    For Main:

Turducken (a turkey stuffed with a duck, stuffed with a chicken, stuffed with a good sage and onion stuffing and an egg - its all deboned). Hot Baked Ham with Honey Glaze Golden Roasted Potatoes cooked in duck or goose fat. Fresh corn on the cob. Honey Carrots. Sage Roasted Pumpkin. Brocolli & Cauliflower Cheese. The gravy would be divine.

    For Dessert:

My Trifle, Plum Pudding with Custard.

Lashings of alcomahol... champagne, Jago, then vodka lots of vodka

    My mouth is watering!

On "River Cottage" they did 7 kinds of fowl stuffed inside each other, down to quail (or spatch****?) I think!

Oh Caz, turkey is my favourite part of Christmas!!!

We have to do the traditional roast, no seafood here!! Turkey & cold ham off the bone, fresh corn cobs, broccoli, cauli, peas, carrots, potato, pumpkin. Lots of gravy & cranberry sauce on the side too. Definitely some champagne or West Coast ( family tradition LOL).

Then for dessert, a long time after LOL, plum pudding drowned in custard *drool*

(Mum also does roast pork with crackling & apple sauce but I don't eat pork)

Niliac, lashings of alcamahol, you forgot the red wine that your avatar seems to like

My hubby when he worked at his old job they would get a free turkey/ham every chrissie. Its only the three of us (as family live down in Sydney) so there would be too much meat leftover. Im not a ham eater either.

I would much rather do a chicken or have a BBQ.

The past few years we have done cold meat with salads, but I do prefer hot.
Roast Turkey, Cauliflower Cheese bake, roast spuds, beans & gravy...yum, yum.
Not a fan of dried fruit, so no pudding here. This year I'm making a Rum & Raisin log....yum,yum.

Must admitt I do love the nibbles too, dips, nuts & so on.

    And bring on the Grog!!!!

    Mmmm, yummo!

We do the cold thing too. Everyone brings their signature dish, LOL!

Mum makes her fried rice, my cousin makes the best salad thingy and guacamole dip, nan makes her chrissy pudding and potato salad, I make real custard on the day and there's other goodies too.
I love fresh ham on the bone and we always have platters of fresh prawns and sometimes crab, and big platters of summer fruits- cherries, mango, nectarines...... uuuggggghhhhhh *drooool*

This year I'm trying my hand at home made chrissy goodies, so we'll see how those go down! I can't wait for christmas

What we have with my family (german) and that is my favourite:

Main: Roast Turkey, Kloese (german potato dumplings), gravy (made from the Turkey juice) and veges.

Dessert: Hot cherries with vanilla custard.

    DH's family:

Main: Cold meats and salads or a BBQ. Not very christmasy IMO but still yummy.

    Dessert: Christmas pudding with cream.
