stupid question - do you mix the cherry ripe and peppermint together, or just halve the bikkies between them and do them separately? It reads like they go together but I can't get my head around that flavour combination!

I admire your willpower having them that long ;-)
yep thats how you do it together they are very yummy and the kids love them

Will have to give that a go then.

I made some today ready for my Christmas tree with chocolate ripple biscuits and two blocks of dark lindt orange chocolate. oh my they're good. Hopefully I'll be able to stay away from them long enough to construct my tree, then I won't be able to steal any!!

    Cherry Ripe Balls

Made mine last night, slightly different but delicious:
    1x packet choc ripple
1x packet mint slice or honeycomb biscuits
    2x peppermint crisp or crunchies
    1x tin sweetened condensed milk
    Coconut.

I made 1 batch of peppermint & 1 batch of Crunchie the girls want to give some to DP's work mates

So Making these on the weekend

I made the Oreo/PhillyCheese balls a few weeks ago (dipped in choc) - they were a massive hit (and I couldn't stop eating the leftovers)

I would be making these if DP didn't have a problem with coconut. DAMN his tastebuds. Maybe I could make a batch anyway..................... no.... no. I'd just eat them all myself.

You could possibly skip the coconut as a test batch for us; just to see if they'd work ..... But then I'd be encouraging you

I made some orange balls using Lindt orange chocolate (two 100g blocks) so I guess you could use Lindt peppermint choc instead. The little crunchy bits in the peppermint crips add a really nice crunch though so getting an alternative with crispy bits in it would be better
