This really reinforces my decision not to have Santa at all. Very much a false god these days! Thanks for posting.

LZ - I have been really torn too, and it's so hard because he is everywhere and I'm not sure how to tackle it and this has reinforced for me that I am actually not going to yet. They are still so little that we can get away with playing things very low key and that if it comes up we will take their lead on who they think he is.
