I wouldn't say things are better but just different between myself and my ex.

It's a situation where we are continually taking a step forward and then ten steps back.

I wanted to change his visiting times, and this blew up into a major ongoing email argument, culminating in an argument during a bedtime visit with him holding our son, which I was very unhappy about.

He is paying child support though, and hopefully we'll do a parenting plan soon.

My baby has a quick temper just like his Dad lol at 4 and a half months lol

Basically I am still making all the decisions, which is good but it is like a weight all the time.

I'm sorry about this awful experience. I wanted to really recommend that you find some single mothers to pal up with. I don't know whether it's possible, but I would also recommend trying to move past the immediate hurt and hone in on the longterm view - it doesn't sound as though the situation with him is going to be workable, you can do this on your own - how can you have a good life on your own, etc.

Your baby needs love, family and friends and for his Mum to have a support network. The involvement of the person whose sperm contributed to his c onception is not compulsory.
