How/Where to meet a nice guy???

Hi girls. I'm starting to miss male company, can anyone suggest where I could meet a nice guy? I will be moving back to Sydneys Northern Beaches within months but currently live on the Gold Coast. While at home on the Gold Coast I dont have anyone to babysit so cant go out anywhere to meet anyone. When I'm in Sydney atm I stay with my XH & dont have a car to get anywhere anyway. I mainly want to meet someone & get to know them maybe online or over the phone etc before we meet in person (when I move into my own place in Sydney).

Where do you all go? Who's had success?

    Help, I'm lonely

Yeah, I'm kind of the same, but of course a female in my case. Plus being a single Dad, soon as people see me with my son, they always assume that I'm in a relationship. My advice is that pubs and clubs aren't really likely to meet people. As most of people there are so young and have different outlooks on life. Best of luck, maybe can try the friends of friends, or the workplace?

If you get your life in order, and look after yourself, the right person will come along at the right time.

You might not believe in that, but I do.

It's only now (3 years on) that I actually feel like I could spare some time for a relationship. But not for the next few months as I'm renovating! So maybe at the end of the year I'll start looking... perhaps join a few common-interest groups (religion, sports, hobby) or something like that.

    Good luck!

Friends of friends are often a good way to meet people too.
If I was single again now there is no way I'd be going to pubs LOL I was a LOT younger then.

I'd like to meet a nice guy who wants kids, finding them around my age is getting really hard. I can find a shag easy enough but a relationship .... not so easy.

But I do have faith in the universe that there is one out there for me and he'll turn up when it is time.

Wait til you come back to Sydney and we can send our combined "great guy who loves kids" vibes into the universe together - maybe we could have the odd night out together and see what we can find lol

I had good luck with a certain online hotspot (that sounds dodgy, but not sure if I can post the web address). PM me if you would like more info. Mind you, took a few frogs to find a prince
