Okay here goes!!!!.... i need to vent or something!!!...........
Ive been a single mum since i fell pregnant (explanation on that yet to come) im cool with that as i was raised by a single mum any way When i fell pregnant i had no idea who the father was ( bad i know) but there was no doubt in my mind that i wasnt keeping it i believe everything happens for a reason and falling preg saved my life!! this one guy has been the love of my life since i was 16 so he was excited that he could be the dad any way after a DNA test he wasnt it was pretty shattering but i tink deep down we both knew that it wasnt his so i was at c-link one day around 4 weeks after i got the results back from test no 1 and ask him if he wanted to do a test andhe sed yes he also was confident that DS was his truth be told so was i any way results came back NEGATIVE!!! my world crumpled a little bit more that day and wasnt sure how much more i could take even though i made the choice to keep the preg...12 mths went by and there was no mistaking who DS belonged to so i bit the bullet and called the next guys (only two options left so this was the last DNA test!!) Girlfriend as we have known each other for a while i wanted to male sure that she knew i wasnt trying to interfere with their life (it does take 2 to tango) Long Story short it ws positive which was always going to happen by this stagewe nearly needed a DNA test just to make sure he was mine!!! okay so they have him every second and all is fine and dandy till the gf falls pregnant..then her claws come out and DS father puts his foot down around xmas as she was being nasty....so last friday they have their baby and its a girl andmy fears were that gf was gunna get DS father to push Zay out and that DS father would have the "instant" love with his new baby that he may not feel for Zay any way didnt hear from them once the baby was born and i thort that he wouldnt hav Zay for a while so that they can bond with the new baby i would of been ok with that...So thursday night comes around (usual weekly tea) and i get a msg "can i have Zay for tea tonight" you could of knocked me over with a feather!!! so his dad rocked up and said i had the dy off so i thort i would get him sdonner and i said that cool i didnt expect you to have him t night any was and his reply "monique wanted just to have a night with just the three of us but i told her that i WAS getting Zay" at this piont i was trying really hard to contain my smile!!!! so he drops off DS and he said "oh mum wants to kno if she can have your number coz shes not working full time at the min so she wants to see Zay more" OMG when they all found out that Zayvier was Chriss' i told him to give his parent my number and they can see him whenver!!! so the complete oppisite has happened to what i thort!!
im sorry this is so long but i had to do something and you girls are always full of good advice!! SORRY ID IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE!! if you have a question just ask me!!
Your X sounds like a fantastic dad..there are many men out there that would have listened to the new GF and not wanted your DS around with the new baby. And it's great that the grandparents want to beinvolved as well. Hope it keeps going smoothly for you and DS.
i forgot to say before that Zayviers dad does an amazing job considering that he only found out he was a dad when Zayvier was 13 mths andhis family have been more than accepting its like Zays been there since he was born!!..we have had our ups and downs and this just proves that he wont put up with his gfs stuff when i thort that after the birth of their baby that it would be the oppisite..
He is a good man. You should be very happy because he is being fair and a good father to both of his children regardless. His GF might be a little bit jealous because she was expecting him to give all his love to the new baby and forget about your DS. We need more men like this!
