So I kindly drove Arch up to his Dad so XH could take him to see his family. During the hand over at a friends house, XH new car came up in convo. XH has only had his VERY new Fairlane for 12 months as it is, and before that he had a 2004 car for only 9 months. So I ask him about it and yeah, he has decided to upgrade to a brand new car, fresh off the production line!!!!
I advised him to maybe wait til he does his tax and finds out how much CS will go up (it will go up considerably) before he commits to such a huge car loan. He appreciated the advice, but then went on to say how unfair CS is for Fathers WTF!!!! He said, just because a father earns $100,000 a year shouldnt automatically mean he should pay a heap of CS without taking his life into consideration, and quote "I mean what if he has a half a million dollar mortgage?" I cannot believe he said that!!
My reply was "well then ,he, should never have had children"
He has always been awful with money, he got us into so much financial trouble during my pregnancy, I had to give our dogs away, sell most of our stuff and move into a flat in a druggo neighbourhood, because of his stupidity!
Lookout if he ever doesnt pay the right CS to me, he will have my Dad to answer to and thats not pretty! LOL
Gosh, I SO wish I had the good sense to not have a child with him GGRRRRRR!!
Hugs darling. Your XH is just such a knob! At least you know you've made exactly the right decision for the rest of your life now. And as for your DS, please, again, don't be so hard on yourself. Life is about living and learning (sorry, that probably sounds stupid, and it's easy for me to say) that's what it's all about.
More hugs
DP's ex hasn't paid a cent in child support in all the 17 months DSD has lived with us. AND THEN has the gall to tell us that we should get her some private tutoring as her grades aren't crash hot. Different planet.
ALSO, I am currently living with my Dad, which means I am rent free and bill free atm. XH said, "of course I wont tell centrelink about your circumstances at your Dads, but its ot really fair". Well actually Centrelink knows my circumstances, I told them the day after I moved here, and its not exactly a walk in the park living with your parents, I am sacrificing quite a bit atm so that my DS can have a better life later on from the money I am saving now. F him, loser!
